Algorithm Info
Introduction
At TubeV.sex, our recommender systems are built to make your experience better by suggesting content that matches your interests. We follow the Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, Article 27) to keep things transparent, avoiding any use of sensitive personal data like sexual orientation or other protected traits. Our algorithms get tweaked from time to time to boost accuracy and relevance, but we always notify if major changes affect you. For more on our compliance, check the DSA Rules.
Recommendation Factors
We base content suggestions on a mix of factors to keep them helpful and fair:
- Browser language settings to show content in your preferred language.
- IP address for rough geolocation, helping with regional relevance.
- User ratings on videos to learn what you like and dislike.
- Search history to spot patterns in your interests.
- Content tags from viewed items to suggest similar videos.
These help create personalized feeds without digging into private details. We use collaborative filtering and machine learning models, inspired by systems on sites like Pornhub, to predict what you'll enjoy next.
User Control
You have options to shape your recommendations: Adjust ratings on content, clear search history in your settings, or tweak profile preferences. If you want to opt out of personalized suggestions entirely, do so in account settings or email wm@tubev.sex—you'll get more general recommendations instead. This aligns with DSA user rights for control over algorithms.
