DSA Rules

Introduction

TubeV.sex complies with Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, the Digital Services Act (DSA), in effect since November 16, 2022, and fully applicable from February 17, 2024. We're focused on creating a transparent and safe space for users, prohibiting targeted ads based on sensitive data or aimed at minors. This page details our DSA obligations, drawing from best practices on platforms like Pornhub and xHamster.

User Statistics

As per Article 24(2) of the DSA, we report average monthly active users in the European Union. This info is updated every six months for transparency. For the period January-June 2025, TubeV.sex had an estimated average of 4.5 million monthly active users in the EU (based on logged sessions and unique IPs, adjusted for bots). This places us below the VLOP threshold of 45 million, but we still prioritize full compliance.

Content Moderation

We have systems to tackle illegal content like CSAM and non-consensual material, as per DSA Articles 16-20. Users can report via video buttons, our Reach Us form, or abuse@tubev.sex. Reports are reviewed promptly (within 24-48 hours), with notifications sent on actions taken. We use automated tools for initial scans and human review for complex cases, similar to Pornhub's approach.

Trusted Flaggers

Under Article 22, we prioritize reports from trusted flaggers. Organizations interested in partnering as flaggers can contact us via Reach Us for details and collaboration. We work with certified entities to speed up handling of harmful content.

Transparency Reports

In line with Article 15, we publish annual transparency reports on moderation activities, including number of reports received, removals (e.g., 1,200 CSAM-related in 2024), automated decisions, and error rates. These are available in our Transparency Report, updated yearly with stats on appeals and staffing.

Appeals and Dispute Resolution

Users can appeal moderation decisions (removals, suspensions) within six months via Reach Us, as per Article 20. We review internally and may reverse if warranted. For EU users, disputes can go to certified out-of-court bodies—no participation in consumer arbitration required.

Advertising Transparency

Per Article 26, we avoid ads based on sensitive data (e.g., sexual orientation) and never target minors. Our formats (banners, pop-ups, in-stream) use cookies for interests but with opt-outs. Ad repository in development for full transparency. Details in our Promote page and Cookies.
